"Kula" (Koo'-la) means community in Sanskrit.  We at Austin Kula Yoga serve the Austin community by providing a fun, welcoming space for the practice of yoga.  Our studio is conveniently located in Tarrytown Plaza on Exposition Boulevard and our expansive schedule provides opportunities for all to experience the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of yoga.  We also serve the needs of busy families with our family yoga, children’s yoga, prenatal, postnatal, and mom-and-baby classes.

All Kula yoga teachers are well educated and are committed to expanding their knowledge.  Our exceptionally talented and devoted teachers offer a variety of classes to meet the needs of everyone from absolute beginners to advanced yoga practitioners.  Our commitment to supporting you means that your teacher will get to know you, your needs, and your practice.
Our knowledgeable teachers are available for special presentations and speaking opportunities in and around the Austin area. They are willing to share their expertise in the areas of Family Yoga, Pre- and Postnatal Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.

We, Megan Elkjer Kanewske and Eileen Crandall Luecke, the founders of Kula Yoga, are so grateful to yoga and what it has brought to our lives. We have noticed that a consistent yoga practice enables us to be more centered, balanced, and loving. We are also aware that when our practice suffers, so does our parenting, our relationships, and our ability to stay calm during stressful times. It is our intention that Kula Yoga will help you experience these same benefits, and help you connect more deeply with yoga and with yourself.

Join us and watch your practice and your heart expand!

Sincerely,
Meg and Eileen
